Look for performers who can handle everything from energetic dance rhythms to more expressive, traditional melodies. Also confirm that they can manage sound levels for indoor spaces, including soundchecks and appropriate mic setups for vocals and instruments.
Bouzouki focus: finding the right sound and lineup

Questions to ask before you book
Before signing anything, confirm the technical requirements and inclusions. Ask what equipment the band brings, whether they require a power source, and how they handle lighting or stage setup if your venue has restrictions. Inquire about the number of musicians performing and whether the ensemble size can be adjusted for your guest count. Clear details prevent surprises and help you plan with confidence.
Next, evaluate service and reliability, not just music. A professional entertainment provider should communicate promptly, confirm arrival times, and explain the run-of-show expectations.
